I dont doubt there is debauchery there, but no more than any even where young attractive athletes are in such close quarters.

i wonder if the single guys on Team Canada get to participate in the shenanigans at all. they're one of the only events to go from the start of the Olympics to the end, and on days they're not playing they're practicing. with how many smoking hot female athletes are at the games though i think temptation would have to be way too strong to stay "focused" solely on hockey

I used to think it was all a myth, but then there were a whole slew of articles with interviews about it during Beijing.

I think I heard the NHL players were being put up in different facilities, and not the Village. However, if I was an NHL, and especially if I was single, I would insist on saving Hockey Canada money by staying in the Olympic Village.

I don't think the olympics is any difference then any of the conferences that go on. If anyone has ever been to a student conference it is very similar to an athletes village minus the extreme fitness and the competive desire. Even professional conferences it goes on albeit much more descretely.
