Very, very bizarre.

Fly to the store and get me a beer (http://www.mosnews.com/news/2004/07/29/devilcat.shtml)

More likely it flew in from Chernobyl.

Excuse me while I say: "I don't believe a word of it." ;)

Funny, I'm reading a book of russian folk-tales right now. A winged cat, sent by the devil, would fit right in with most of the stories in the book.

About a year ago they had a story on CKY news about a cat that was found near Winnipeg that appeared to have wings. After catching it and testing it they found out it was just built up dead hair on the cats back.

"A sack with the animal’s body was recovered later from a pond near the Medvedev’s home."

So that's where he lives.

Nadezhda Medvedeva went out and saw how the cat slowly moved its wings exactly as a chicken would. The woman immediately came to the conclusion that the cat was sinister, “just like a sort of devil”.
Medvedeva eh... sounds similar.

Ahhh reminds me of the cover stories of "Bat Boy escapes from hospital" and crazy stuff like that.

Best tabloid story I ever saw was in the World News where they had a story about a dinosaur terrorizing Moscow. What made it great was the photo "proof" was a shot of our very own dinosaur park (at the zoo) against Calgary's downtown skyline. Hilarious!

Nah, it that was the goalie, he would've eaten the cat.
