Bruins Solidify Forward Roster

After a busy week of trading, the Boston Bruins are proud to announce that they have solidified their starting forward roster. Bruins GM KevanGuy couldn't hide his contentment, "Our goal was to have our top three starting lines all 70+ OV, maintain cap room, and generally improve the team. We feel we have done that."

Over the course of the last few days the Bruins have said 'good-bye' to the following:

Keefe, Sheldon (RW) AHL
Wallin, Nicklas (D) NHL
Van Allen, Shaun (LW) NHL
Messier, Eric (LW) NHL
Havelid, Niclas (D) NHL
Hnilicka, Milan (G) NHL

"A diverse group of players to be sure. But," notes the GM, "we are happy to welcome:"

Kozlov, Slava (RW) NHL
Brunette, Andrew (RW) NHL
Brathwaite, Fred (G) NHL
Schwab, Corey (G) NHL
Giroux, Ray (D) NHL
2005 3rd Round Draft Choice (bos)

The starting lineup for the Bruins looks, at this point, to be:

Turgeon - Modano - Demitra
McEachern - Lecavalier - Kozlov
Brunette - Bates - Vyborny
Nieminen - Knutsen(Ritchie) - Holzinger

With 6.89 MILL in cap and 4 roster spots still available, the Bruins are looking to add another solid offensive D-man and possibly some prospects. All offers are considered and KevanGuy will be available on MSN to talk trade.
