LAS VEGAS - Imagine being able to download a movie in four minutes. That's what's possible with new technology unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on Tuesday - technology that makes so-called high-speed Internet 10 times faster than today.

Comcast Corp., the largest U.S. cable company, plans to roll out the new service to Americans this year that will hit top speeds of 160 megabits per second.

I thought Comcast was the company who started restricting bandwidth because people were downloading too many movies?

Downloading a movie in 4 minutes would be great, but where am I going to find a site that can upload it to me that fast?

Moe: "The new fryer is here. I got it used from the Navy. You can flash-fry a buffalo in 40 seconds."

Homer: "Forty seconds? But I want it now!"

Considering they are still charging 700 bucks for a HD PVR box like it's still some sort of hot new technology (while some companies like Time Warner give you one for free), I'm going to guess yes.
