I have an immediate need for Site Technicians to support our operations in the GTA. Site Technicians are responsible for all on-site aspects regarding the deployment of our systems, including the survey of sites for the installation of our systems, coordination with electrical contractors, connectivity providers, utility metering staff, and customer facility representatives to facilitate installations, and completion of site installation testing. Site Technicians are also responsible for identifying and repairing issues affecting existing site operations, and assist sales staff with measures as well as the feasibility of and method for installation of our systems with new customers. Site Technicians work directly with regional Project Managers. We are seeking someone who is willing to see our installations through completion while excelling at customer relations. Most days will involve travel directly to customer sites, though 5 to 10 percent in-office time can be expected. Our technology and staff is growing and expanding quickly, and an entrepreneurial attitude is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform site surveys for new customer installations.
Assist Project Managers with the scheduling of electrical contractors, work with those contractors to ensure job requirements are met, and perform inspections of systems installed by contractors.
Test systems and diagnose issues found during testing; this may include the diagnosis of customer equipment not directly tied to our system.
Work with facility managers and other customer personnel throughout the installation process.
Diagnose issues related to existing systems and repair or coordinate others to restore systems.
Assist sales staff with the assessment of a customer's utility load, curtailment options, and installation feasibility. Required Qualifications/Skills/Education:

A background in building management systems, electrical contracting, consulting, utility services, or other electrical and/or networking experience.
A service-oriented background in a field such as contracting, consulting, or internal systems support.
Experience managing and/or supervising projects and contractors.
Experience with Microsoft Office and a general computing background. Desired Qualifications/Skills/Education:

Experience with backup systems, including generators, transfer switches, other electrical gear, and uninterruptible power systems.
Experience with building management systems, lighting controls and contactors, and/or similar types of systems.
Background and/or experience in energy management and technology.
An Electricians License is a benefit but not required.
