Edit: It's supposed to be 'SAW' but I guess the forum doesn't allow multiple capital letters in a row in topic titles

2 of them... I want to see this movie!!! :D

(warning: slightly gory for those who don't like that stuff)

Trailer 1 (http://mfile.akamai.com/3321/wmv/cinemanw.download.akamai.com/3321/lge/Saw/saw_fd_300Kbps.asx)

I wouldn't even watch the trailers because it is giving away too much good stuff in the movie. But if the buzz about this is true that I have been hearing from timbuk two to portland maine (or portland oregon for that matter) this is gonna be a big hit. The reviews from mainstream and horror people have been great across the board.

I'm just wondering how the FCC is going to let the movies catch phrase be "How ######ed Up Is That?"

Okay, since I don't know what "SAW" is I won't be watching the trailers at work.

Care to elaborate on what it is rather than leave people guessing?

basically it's some psycopath who makes people sadistically murder themselves and others in order to have a chance to save themselves( which rarely happens).

Thats what its about but there are supposed to be a couple good twists in there as well. And it is supposed to be unrelentingly horrifying. Horror nowadays has become tongue in cheek winking at its audience and giving too much humour to let people catch their breath. Apparently this one is just balls to the wall messed up.

Couldn't watch these at work today but finally did at home tonight. Dear lord that is messed up stuff. There are few movies that have ever truly scared me but this looks like it will do the trick in a major way.

OOOOH! That jaw contraption thing is creeping me out. Looks like it has potential, even if that trailer is quite disturbing. Here's a longer one:

Another trailer here (http://movies.yahoo.com/movies/feature/saw.html)

Welll then, that just looks a littttle to disturbing for me. But none the less looks like an intresting flick. Danny Glover WITHOUT Mel Gibson...what HAS this world come to?? :P

I hate to be the spoiler here, but let's think this through logically.

Danny Glover

no Mel Gibson

crazy psycopath, named "Jigsaw" that no one sees

now, who do you think "Jigsaw" is?

Sorry there's your twist, Jonny calls it 6 months before it's due in theatres B)

This is the same Jonny that says Andy Dufresne actually did it..

it'll all depend on the suspense and buildup, i mean messed-up with no reason produces severe-level crap like 'house of 1000 corpses'

didn't read the book

but in the movie... yep

Oh man, I like the occasional horror film and loved to be scared out of my wits.

But I am don't think I can handle that movie.

Those trailers (the first two) were brutal. Don't know if I should even bother watching the third one.
