Hello,

I'm looking for a co-op job in economics. Not too picky right now, as it's my first one.
Looking to start in May or September.
If anyone's company might be looking, or you yourself, PM me.

Thanks

because I'm guessing you don't have your masters (and are not in grad school) you might be better off hitting up some of the energy companies for an "analyst" position. They will be advertised as such and econ majors have good analytical skills (or at least they should). If you apply for an economist position, people will expect you to have some grad school experience.

check out the Canadian Energy Research Institute

(www.ceri.ca (http://www.ceri.ca) if memory serves me correct).

You'd better have good marks, a clear understanding of economic modelling, and the ability to work without someone holding your hand. If you can get it, CERI is a fantastic place for a junior economics major or economist position.

The jobs are out there, you just have to know how to ask for them. Good luck.
