In a late-night blockbuster that once again involved the Florida Panthers, GM Dave Penney sent Chris Osgood packing.
"His performance in the exibition games was just gross". "I would rather put Tommy Salo in net right now over that bum" Said Penney.
"I almost had to sell the shirt off of my back to get the trade finalized, but after it was all said and done, Biron is where he should be...in Florida".
Coming to Florida is Martin Biron, Radek Martinek and Eric Boguniecki. Heading to Dallas are Andy Delmour, Chris Osbad, Mike knuble and a first round selection in this year's draft.
"We are really going to miss knuble" said Penney, "but we get a very similar player back in Boguniecki. We will also welcome Biron to the organization with open arms as he will be with us for quite some time."
