Bruins GM KevanGuy set out the goal to have all 12 starting forwards at a 70 OV while maintaining cap space and keeping the solid D-core intact. With the late night aquisition of Sergei Zholtok the Bruins have done just that. With Sergei in the fold, the starting lineup looks to be:

Turgeon (73) - Modano (84) - Demitra (82)
McEachern (73) - Lecavalier (80) - Kozlov (74)
Brunette (73) - Wiemer (71) - Vyborny (71)
Rucinsky (71) - Zholtok (70) - Andersson (71)

The D are looking good as well with 5 out of 6 starters with a 70OV and over.

Markov (76) - Ozolinsh (79)
Therien (72) - Quint (72)
Baron (68) - O'Donnell (73)

The Bruins are looking very forward to getting the season started and having some fun. Might be the only hockey this year.

EDIT: The Bruins management would also like to congratulate the players on going 9-1-0 in their last 10 Exhibition games. The Avs were the only team to beat the Bruins in a 7-6 barnburner a couple weeks ago.

An impressive team indeed. Once again, The Wild are just pleased that the Bruins are not in the West.

But of course the question on everyone's mind is what does all this forward talent mean for THE Brian Holzinger?
