CP Head to Head Hockey Pool 2013-14

New season - another year of head to head competition. Just as in previous years the top three finishers are saved spots until they choose not to participate.

This will be a 16 team league and will fill fast. Reply in the thread to save your spot. Do not sign up if you will not have time/desire to participate the entire season.

The day/time of the draft is currently Sept 26 (Thurs) at 7:00 Calgary time.

Forwards/Defensemen Stat Categories:Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Penalty Minutes (PIM), Powerplay Points (PPP), Shorthanded Points (SHP), Game-Winning Goals (GWG), Shots on Goal (SOG)
Goaltenders Stat Categories:Wins (W), Goals Against Average (GAA), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO)

You can rank players in the order that you like and the system will draft a team for you based on those rankings. Alternatively, you don't have to do anything and the Yahoo rankings will be your default rankings. As long as you sign up, the auto draft will draft a team for you on the appointed day.

If you are joining, this is for everyone, please stick it out for the season. There is nothing more frustrating then watching teams sit idle because the GM got distracted or bored.

Also, if you have indicated you are going to participate make your team asap. There are a couple CPers that have not yet created a team in yahoo. There is a cap on the number of teams that can play, so don't miss out.

The league reserved spots for the top three finishers last year. Since two of them returned using a diferent link, those spots could be released. At this time there are only 3 spots remaining.

This thread suggests that Fightn Sioux, OffsideSpecialist, and strombad have spots saved.

If you already have a team, please let me know your team name so I can match the CPer with the team.

Its a head to head format so you will compete against a different GM each week. The scoring for each category is tallied and the GM leading each category gets 1 point. It should be in the scoring and settings on the league page.

Damn, had an unplanned business trip, tried to squeeze some online time in to sign up and set up auto-draft but I would have needed to do it during the meeting with my screen on the projector since there was no chance to do it in the hotel.
