Seems as though the coming days could be a good medal haul for team Canada. Possibly a couple gold coming our way.

I'll believe it when I see it, with the exception of a select few, our athletes just don't seem to be able to cut the mustard.

Christine Nordhagen (sp?) one of our gold medal hopes is bounced out yesterday.

Reasons to believe before it happens:
Despatie is in 1st in Diving heading into the finals (in the 10m Platform, he's also a medal contender in the 3m springboard)
Perdita Felicien and Angela Whyte are both in the Finals for the 100m hurdles
Lori-Ann Muenszer is in the semis in cycling - good shot at a medal there
5 canoes/kayaks are in the semi finals in racing - good shots at making the finals there
Baseball team is in the finals - decent shot for at least a bronze
Apparantly the synchro-swimming team is decent this year as well.

We'll see what happens though
