Thank you everyone, this is a great day for hockey everywhere. I really appreciate you guys giving me this opportunity to take part in this fine league and I look foreward to establising the Florida Panthers as a serious contender.

I won't be doing much for the first little while until I get introduced to all the players. I am going to sit down one-on-one with all of them to find out where they stand and ask them where they think they fit into this organization.

I will be making some moves, so buckle your seatbelts, I'm ready to roll!

I like to trade as well but only after a long, thought out process. Like I said earlier, I will sit down with the players and find out who wants to help make the Panthers into a contender. Those who don't will be available through the trade market.

As a rookie GM I realize that there will be some roadblocks to overcome so I ask that you all be patient with me. But unfortunatly for you guys, I will take the Panthers to the promised land!!!
