Wait, how does the lotto ticket keep them there?

Hold it during a Flames game and offer free beer?

I'd stay a couple of hours ;)

(I'm not too sure about the fondue thing... and you would think a girl would be all over this)

Lotto ticket doesnt keep them there the fondu does lol. The lotto ticket is to remind the person of the place when they check their numbers.
Im thinking this idea is going to be scrapped however I need a new idea.
Anyone....???

If I'm spending hundred's of thousands of dollars on a home and the place isn't what I want, no amount of food or gimmicks are going to make me change my mind.

Open houses are fine but people interested in the house will take the time to find out more. Most people know within a few minutes if a place is right for them.

But if you really want people to stay longer, give them a beer. They can't drink in public (leave with open liquor) and any respectable man won't leave a beer unfinished.

have people stay longer than 2 minutes.

What is your goal in trying to get people to stay longer than it takes for them to walk around and look at the place? Are you trying to get time to chat them up and get them signed as buyer-clients?

Because otherwise I'd have to agree with the prior poster that people will stay long enough to look at it and decide if it works for them or not. I'd just make sure to have lots of feature sheets, and maybe hot chocolate chip cookies or a candy dish or something if you want to be memorable.

Do you really want a bunch of nosy neighbors who have no intention of buying the house hanging around eating free food?

I would try and do something different in terms of getting information about the property and open house details out to realtors and their potential home buyers.

Check with CREB if it is ok to give out lottery tickets.
