Chelios and Axel bad boys
July 27, 2004

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that Hawks defenseman Chris Chelios was kicked out of a popular restaurant Saturday.

The paper said Chelios was escorted out of FIX after a plate-smashing binge while dining with CPHL GM Axel Axman, tennis star Jennifer Capriati, actors Cuba Gooding Jr. someone named transplant99 and CPHL players Sergei Fedorov, Luc Robitaille and Marty McSorley (now retired).

A FIX publicist said Chelios "explained to management that it was OK because he was Greek, but it didn't fly." Chelios was referring to a Greek tradition of plate breaking and not because plates had wings.

After cooler heads prevailed, Chelios was allowed to rejoin his pals, who were in town for Axel’s annual Bad Boys of Harley Davidson weekend outing.

National Enquirer

July 27, 2004

It seems that Tennis Star, Jennifer Capriati has found love.

A close friend has told the Enquirer that Jennifer has found true love in the arms of a "bad boy". Seen recently at the popular Las Vegas restaurant FIX, Jennifer was getting quite cozy with a certain CPHL GM. Jennifer confides in her friend, "I just absolutely adore him, he is the man of my dreams, all clad in leather and oh so sexy with that helmut on his head".

When asked to reveal the name of her new found love, Jennifer only said that if he proposed, she would have to "transplant" herself to another part of the country.

Enquirer readers, stay tuned for more on the court sized love affair of Jennifer Capriati.

Next weeks edition....How Gerry Cheevers found the Fountain of Youth and will sign a long term/multi-million dollar deal with the Chicago Blackhawks of the CPHL.

Chelios was what, a 73 OV last year? Seems like someone who could still help a team. Probably more than some 70 OV forward named Grier.

Crap, were you not the same GM that thought the Chelios signing was so outstanding?

It was a good signing but is it worth giving "A" list prospect for a guy that is going to retire in one year and isn't rated high. I don't think so.

I totally understand how could anyone want to trade for Chelios...... Hold on I just did....... I looked at his SIM rating. Chelios has a pretty good rating. He will fit right in...........

Just need to buy lots of PLATES..............
