Hi guys,
I own a Real Estate investment company and I also work for another.
There are some excellent opportunities to make money in Alberta's Real Estate market.
The company I work for is called the Beiramar group and they sell investments in raw land which they will develop into communities. Initial investments into this is $5000 and you can even transfer current RSP's into this investment. If you are tired of underperforming Mutual Funds this is the way to go. The returns are excellent. It is a bit of a longer term investment but it is a great way for those of us in our 20's and 30's to retire young!
The Company I own is called Colden Properties. These investments are more into already built properties. Again you can use current RSP's to invest in these types of investments and the returns are in the 10%-12% range. However the initial investment is a little bit higher.
You really should take a look at your current investments. If you aren't making money then there are some great alternatives out there. Don't be sucked in to the "buy hold and wait" that a lot of Mutual Fund companies tell you.
PM me if you want more details.
