We talk a lot about what's wrong with #12, the reaction of B. Sutter and an interesting chat about head shots in the NHL.
Hope you enjoy it!

I just finished listening to your broadcast and found it to be quite enjoyable. Perspective is a wonderful thing.

Whatever beefs people seem to have about the audio quality on the live broadcast must be corrected by the time the show is available for download. Look forward to the show every week. I'll be listening this evening on the stupid bus home. Keep up the great work guys.

One of the challenges is that the overall levels are totally different coming through u-stream (which feeds the live show) v. what gets recorded on the actual deck.
And we can also do some thing in post-production to improve things - that aren't possible to do on the fly during the live show.
Glad you are enjoying it!

Great show guys.. when are you going to get some guests on?
What is always so nice to hear is the level headed view that you guys, especially D'Arcy, has about this team, or about hockey in general. We all love the Flames, but there are those certain people who can separate themselves and see the big picture, and hearing you guys talk helps to re-enforce that.
Also.. glad you guys agree with me about the definition of hooking in the NHL today. I want to punch the refs who call incidental contact as a hook.

It's lazy refereeing.

You guys prove Johnson (or was it Cruikshank?) wrong when he said you can't be a fan of the team and do his job. Granted, you don't have the luxury of traveling across the country and hanging out with the team at every practice. Despite your allegiance to the Calgary Flames the two of you provide fair and grounded commentary on the team every week. The level of insight you display puts the local scribes and most talking heads on network broadcasts to shame.
This past week's episode was no exception and I look forward to the next.

Working on it - hopefully we'll have someone in the next couple of shows.

Thanks for the positive comments.
Some members of the media make a real point of not being a fan - of any team. However, a lot of them are fans of certain teams...even if its not the local squad. I've also observed members of the media becoming close to a specific player and as such, cheer for them and their team to do well. For instance there's guys in town that would love to see the Flames win a cup so that Craig Conroy could get a ring.
