The latest edition of CP Radio is now available for download. To get the show use:

http://www.dougnouwen.com/podcasts/podcast-calgarypuck/CP_Radio_Oct_7_2009.mp3

It should be about a 31 minute download for this one

When too many people hit the server at once it can crap out so here's a back-up link

hey, i like to use winamp to do my podcasts. i have the correct address for the feed, but when i download the files, i only get small chunks of the file.

the first time i downloaded the preview show, i got about 30 minutes worth. but since then when i try to download, it tells me its done but only has about 5 minutes or so. any suggestions?

EDIT: i seem to be having a similar problem when trying to listen on the cp radio page. the streaming player will initially give the full length but then as it plays it modifies to like 4 minutes and thats all i can listen to.

I'm not familiar with winamp? I suspect though its similar to the problem we are having when the server is cutting out. I am in the process of getting the show moved onto new servers that hopefully will be able to deal with the traffic better....in the meantime the back-up link appears to be more reliable. My apologies for the tech problems.

I made a change to our feed set up so the new show is now linking directly to the secondary link which seems to be more stable right now. If anyone has problems let me know please.

looks like the dougnouwen link is working for me. i think thats how i listened last year.

yeah, i think winamp functions basically the same as itunes except i don't have to be a slave to steve jobs! seems like for some reason though it just thinks the file is much smaller than it really is.
