My sister has the idea that she needs someone professional to write her resume. Anyone out there do that? Or know someone that does? Let me know, thanks.

I wasn't getting calls for positions I thought I would be perfect for, so I decided to have my resume professionally done.

I found a company called Wordscapes through the BBB. The guy who owns the company was a professor, as well as, a writer for the CBC. He did a phenomenal job. Within two weeks of sending out resumes, I had 6 job interviews.

I would highly recommend this company and have to several friends.

Funnily enough, I am losing my job at the end of November as my boss has decided to close the company but this really is for my sister. Thanks rico and CC, I will pass that info along to my sister.

Can you give us a ballpark on what the cost was?

Total cost including consultation, two-page resume & cover letter, along with, hard copies and email copies...$180.

Very reasonable in my opinion. I found a job that I love and probably wouln't have even received an interview without the fantastic job that David from Wordscapes did for me.

Just wondering, how long ago did you get this done? I just checked the wordscapes website and the price for a 2 page resume and cover letter package is now $225

Mine was done almost a year ago, which explains the price increase(but that does seem pretty steep for a year ago). Give David a call and tell him you were referred by a friend. He may cut you a deal.
