Nope, fata them, they suck.

You meant an 'f' instead of an 's' right? That would explain why they're soon to be dads.

Just another quiet father's day for me- sitting around not answering the phone unless I recognize the number.

Likewise. I golfed with my dad today for the first time in many, many years. It was great. He kicked my ass.

I can't wait to kick my kids ass's at Golf. They are 6 and 3.5. So for they don't Golf but the master plan is to have them and the wife take lessons so when we do family vacations I can teach them a thing or two. :D

I love master plans!!!!! And Golf!!!!

Thanks for the reminder! Just got off the phone with my dad. Easy to forget that stuff living over in China.

Pretty sweet Father's Day for me. We welcomed our second child, a son, Thursday night.

Nice! Our daughter was born right before Father's Day two years ago, and we still joke that there's no way to top my first Father's Day present.

Congrats fred!

Our son was born 3 weeks ago today and it was a great Father's Day yesterday.

In Germany, Dads go out with their buddies to the bar. No family dinner.

For Father's Day, I got news that my tenant is moving out next month. Now I have to find a new tenant and plan a wedding.

Ugh. So stressful

Me and my brother took our dad golfing. It was overcast the whole day but we didnt get rained on. He actually got an eagle (after taking 2 mulligans off the tee :) )

I love golfing at non prick locations. Inexpensive and you can 2 ball it off the tee the whole time.

Yah. Pretty cool for you being your first one. Happy belated fathers day to you and trout and Aeneas and... What other dads on the team? Rhettzky is I think, so to be safe, I'll mention him. Mr. Banffgirl, kinda... And I was a dad for a day to Jeebuzz!!

I got to spend the day coaching my son's soccer team to a birth in the provincials. All in all, pretty satisfying.

Father's Day is rather bitter sweet for me. Sweet because of our son and daughter. Bitter because of the twin sons we lost at birth. I spent this year in the shadow of the rather remote hill where we scattered our twins' ashes about 20 years ago and got somewhat inebriated. Kind of a different Father's Day for me this year.

No one can begin to understand the hurt you must feel. The thought of losing a child is unimaginable to me. Something I would never want to have happen.
My thoughts are with you. A very sad day indeed.

Incredibly sad, Ford.

The one sad thing I think about on Father's Day was the death of my Grandfather. He had a heart attack that morning. My uncle found him when he went over to pick him up for Father's Day brunch. We got the call at my parent's house where I was visiting for Father's Day. I've never seen my Dad that emotional (and it was my Mom's father that died). I doubt I'll ever meet a nicer man than him.

This was the first Father's Day without my father. He passed away in January at the age of 60 from small cell lung cancer (was not a smoker). So to say the least, it was a tough day.
