As usual we will spend the bulk of the program talking about the last few games for the Flames.

Curious though if the whole topic of fighting is something folks are interested in having us talk about. I know I have strong opinions on it but I don't want to get into it if people are already tired of the topic.

Thoughts?

Grant my dear,

I'll listen to whatever your angelic voice is gracious enough to speak.

Given the outcome of the next two games we could talk about the possibility of the Flames reaching 2nd in the conference, although probably can't spend much time on that.

Maybe a quick look at the rest of the division, and why it's not as competitive as years passed.

Touch Kipper's games played. Whether its an issue or not and the fact he could beat the win record.

There's always trade talk, but I'm a little tired of that with no substantial rumours to go on. I figure Sutter will do something though, if even just depth moves.

Could touch on possible or 'favorable' first round matches.

I wouldn't mind hearing about fighting. I'm on the leave it alone side.

I would prefer that the fighting discussion be left out. I don't really think that there is anything to add at this point. It seems to come up every year at about this time in one form or another and nothing ever changes.

Flames have come out strong so far after the break and there's some interesting things happening in the division with Detroit stumbling, Sundin sucking, Edmonton's blowout and what a ridiculous race it could be for spot 5-8 in the west..... Maybe a good time to look at potential matchups like Daradon said and look at who are the buyers and sellers are at this point.

Kipper's race to beat the wins in a season record, and a shout out to JLF for being so kick ass over the years.

I'm guessing we'll be talking about why on Earth Keenan played Kiprusoff in Colorado setting up McElhinney for the fall in Dallas.

I'd like to hear opinions on whether or not Kipper has an outside shot at the vezina. Yeah, his stats may not support it, but if he starts setting records for most wins in a season it should merit some consideration?

I agree with Bingo as well. WTF is going on with the backup? Kipper is such a workhorse, and if he plays that many games throughout the season he's increasing his chances for a burnout or god forbid an injury. Does Mcelhinney start slotting in, and when?
