Hey folks, I've got a problem:
Yesterday I apparently was sending links to random websites to a bunch of my contacts through Windows Live Messenger. The problem is that I wasnt actually sending them, so something weird is going on. So far none of the people I have sent these things to have opened them (well, of the people I talked to, anyways) so I dont know where they go or what they do. I know one of the messages was just a link to xnetspeed (or something like that) followed by a thumbs up....no other words or anything. I run Windows LiveOne Care and I did a virus and spyware scan today that didnt find anything. Any ideas? This just started yesterday, so I was wondering if there is a way I can check my computer to see what files were created yesterday and maybe that would help? Anybody had this happen before? Anybody know what I can do about it? Anybody know how worried I should be about it?
Oh yeah, so far I havent noticed the computer running any differently than normal (aside from these messages "I" send people).
Thanks guys and gals.
