Just from reading different posts over at whlfans.ca it appears JD Watt will be suspended for an elbow to a head.
Here is what I found at whl.ca
10/12/07 J.D. Watt Red Deer TBD under supplemental discipline for hit in Saskatoon on October 12.

From whlfans:
Well if you wee listening too the game on friday when they played the Blades, you would know he elbowed Teigan Zahn in the back of the head, and he is now suspended indefinitly could be 10 games the hit was so dirty.
Lots of discussion over there whether it was clean or dirty.

The sooner the Flames cut ties with this bum, the better.

Because this isn't an isolated incident.

"We" aren't but myself and a few others who follow our prospects closely realize this isn't a one time thing. Kid's got a history of it, and isn't about to change.

I'm not defending Watt, but this comment from whlfans is from a very suspect poster from Saskatoon. I would take his posts with a whole shaker of salt.
According to Brian Sutter (from The Red Deer Advocate) it was good, hard bodycheck but the other kid had his head against the glass and got knocked out. Problem with the WHL suspension is that they don't give a reason why they suspend (one source says it was an elbow, another one that he left his feet, ...).

Well he wasn't exactly drafted and signed for his play making abilities although the guy did lead the Memorial Cup champs in goals. The guy is a tough hard nosed hockey player who crosses the line every so often. If he can learn when to wreck havoc and gets in shape so he can handle the pros, he may find a place in the NHL.

Well IMO it doesn't really matter about the poster from another site. The league felt Watt did something that worthy of a 6 game suspension. Bottom line he crossed the line again.

I haven’t watched the guy play much, but from what others have said here, he doesn’t get his nose dirty. He’s apparently like Burrow without getting his nose dirty and plays on the perimeter.
