MIKE MADILL SENT TO LAS VEGAS
Roster Trimmed as Flames Head to Milwaukee for First Road Game

Moline, IL – The Quad City Flames announced today that defenseman Mike Madill has been released from his Professional Try-Out Agreement. He will join the ECHL’s Las Vegas Wranglers.
Madill appeared in both of the Flames first two games. He recorded an assist on Opening Night as the Flames beat Rockford 5-1. Madill was held pointless in Sunday’s 4-2 loss to Peoria.
Madill played seven games with the AHL’s Houston Aeros last season. He recorded one point (an assist) during his inaugural stint in the AHL. Madill spent the majority of the 2006-07 season with the ECHL’s Texas Wildcatters. He ranked ninth in scoring amongst ECHL defensemen with 43 points (four goals and 39 assists) last season.
The Quad City Flames begin a four-game road trip on Friday in Milwaukee. Fans in the Quad Cities can follow the action beginning at 7:00 p.m. via the b2 Networks Viewing Parties at Bleacher Bums in Davenport (3811 N. Harrison Street, across from Lujack’s) or Parkside Grill and Lounge in Moline (2307 5th Avenue). Both establishments will offer special food or beverage discounts for Flames fans during the broadcast. The game can also be heard on the new radio home of the Quad City Flames, WYEC 93.9 FM. The radio broadcast begins at 6:35 p.m. with the Hayman’s Ace Hardware Pre-Game Show. After the game, stay tuned for the Kinetic Fitness Post-Game Show.
