Four Cuts Announced on Ninth Day of Inaugural Training Camp

Moline, IL- The Quad City Flames today announced that defensemen Gerry Burke, Clay Plume, David Schulz and Tyson Strachan have been released from their training camp. Following today’s cuts, the Flames roster features 25 players (15 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders).
The Flames close out their exhibition schedule tonight in Urbandale, Iowa at the 95KGGO Arena. The Iowa Stars host the contest beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The Quad City Flames will begin their inaugural season as the American Hockey League affiliate of the Calgary Flames this fall at the i wireless Center. Call the Flames Office today at (309) 764-7825 to order season tickets, mini-plan packages, group tickets or for information on corporate partnerships.
