Thanks for the story. We QC fans are a little spoiled and a lot of us are used to reading an article or two about our team every week or so through the summer. This waiting until the NHL camps are over is going to take some getting use to. Thanks for giving us junkies a taste!

And it's a good team Quad Cities will get. Despite finishing 26th out of 29 AHL teams in offense last season, the Knights averaged a second-best 2.36 goals against and finished 49-25-6. The record won them the West Division title, but the playoffs weren't as kind. Omaha lost to Iowa in the opening round in six games, three of the losses by one goal.

boy, that doesn't sound familiar at all. if the baby Flames keep following the lead of the big club and find some offense this year, then you guys in QC should have a real gem on your hands
