Martin Gelinas scores with 47 seconds left in overtime to advance the Flames to the WC final.

That picture is one of my favorite hockey photos of all time.

As Hunter74 pointed out Conroy (and his friend Iginla) need to be traded for someone with some heart.

I mean look at the guy.... he is literally floating in that picture at one of the most important times.

I thought so, but it's the TV broadcast that's burned into my brain, so I didn't recognize it off the bat. I couldn't figure out why a picture of Conroy scoring was so important.

I love how Conroy is literally flying, and the look on the Red Wings fan's face is priceless. Its an "OMG WDF"

Fitting that Hatcher was right there for that goal. Calgary exposed him for the slow, out of position defender he was in that series.

Thanks for my morning laugh, that was great!

The best part of that picture is the Detroit fan in the background crowd - you can literally see all the air leaving his body as he falls into his chair while everyone around him cheers.

That gave me goosebumps like crazy....almost shed a little tear with all that emotion.

Awesome watching Commandore and Regher just slash the hell out of people in front of Kipper. I hope everyone on the team brings that emotion to this run.

Anyone have an in on the team to show them that video :p

I still have no memory between the 10 seconds after that goal, and the time I recovered to cheer my a** off

Nice memory. I hope the Flames aren't living in the past when the puck drops Thursday night.

I was an usher in the club there at the time, and before the goal I was at the top of the stairs and after they scored I somehow ended up half way down the stairs cheering my face off. I don't remeber those couple of seconds where I got down the stairs. I hope the Flames can have another moment like that.

I still love Nemo's goal at 6:15 in that video. I also love Hatcher trying to get over to him in time...

Did Hatcher get kicked in the head by a skate just moments before?

Nah. Iginla, Conroy, Yelle, Warrener, Regehr, Nilson and Kiprusoff are the only ones left from that run, and the taste in their mouths from that series has since been soured from losing a Game 7 in the SCF, and then getting beat in the 1st Round the year after, I'm sure.

i hate watching the video's from 04 playoffs.. shows how much of a joke the game is now..just watch the battles in front of the net, thats the way it should be.
