Last year it was requested by many GMs to find ways to gain extra Cap room for their teams.
The CPHL has decided to allow Corporate Sponsorships for its teams. Within a few days you will notice an extra cool Million bucks posted on your team salary cap. You are free to use this one time bonus to purchase these Sponsorships along with an extra million from your own Cap. This means that you can spend UP to but not over $$$2,000,000 on these items. Next year you will have to use your own Cap money to buy sponsors, no freebies will be handed out.
IF you do not wish to buy Sponsors, or not spend 2 million you are free to spend the extra million in any way you see fit.
Pics are still being uploaded over the next day or so...but here ya go...
http://cphl.calgarypuck.com/pages/sponsorships.html
It is linked on the Rosters sheet below the download League files section
You will have until September 30th to purchase Sponsorships for the 2004/05 CPHL year.

additional comments....
you buy the Sponsors with this years Cap to make money for next years Cap....If you nail the requirements. If you dont nail it you lose the money from this years Cap....CPHL Gambling.

The Cheese rule doesnt change...If youve dealt your cash away then its gone....the extra coin doesnt add anything to that rule at all.

logos? as in the sponsors? never thought of that...we already have a box below your IR for sponsors...see Pittsburgh for example.

No worries - I didn't know where you were adding them on the roster pages. I didn't know if any other GMs had picked any sponsors yet.

Do you receive the million when you make your sponsorship choices? Or there is there only a deduction if you go over the million dollar mark?
