Wanted! To Rent

I need to borrow, rent or buy a rooftop cargo box for a long camping trip. This trip begins friday after work, so this is brutally short notice. I thought I had this figured out but the one I was to borrow from a friend sucks. It has a hole in it & no clamps to attach to the roof. Besides that, it doesn't seal properly & I'm headed to Vancouver Island & I'm expecting a bit of rain to fall.


If you (or someone you know) has one & would like to rent it to me for a reasonable price, pm me NOW! I'm willing to pay 30 - 50 bucks to borrow a piece of plastic that would otherwise sit in your garage.

The trip is 10 days and I will offer collateral. Please keep in mind that I've already got access to a shinguardty one, so if yours sucks too, don't bother. :lol:

I called Racks Unlimited to rent one later this summer. They quoted me $135 for the whole set up for 18 days. We needed a roof rack and the cargo box.

Give them a call they might have what you need.

I didn't even think of that. I called Uhaul and all they'll rent is a pouch type thing. Obviously that would not work so I got my own from the bargain finder. What the heck, I'll use it often, now that I have it.
