Sens advance to the conference final! Another OT win after Staal tied it with 1:15 left in the third. McBackup was excellent in his 2nd start of the series.

Congrats to Jeff on a great season and for knocking off the #1 Isles.

Well we couldn't get the job done against the Jackets, but at least took them to six. Season review to follow.

Wow Iggy leads the way with 2 goals and the games 1st star as the Ducks manage to win game 6 and eliminate the Detroit Red Wings. Congrats to the Wings on an excellent season. This series was very close with a few OT games and the rest of the games pretty much all being 1 goal games.

Now we have a tough matchup against another team that made moves for sim chemistry in the Columbus Blue Jackets!

Jackets pull it off after losing game 1 once again but this series it took an extra game. Congrats to Slava for a great season and for bringing in some good talent to make a good run. Your time will continue to improve and you have done an excellent job with the Preds.

The Jackets were up 4-0 in this game and on cruise control to the win when the Preds stormed back to bring it within 1. That will have to be adjusted and we'll have to prevent this from happening vs the Ducks. The top 2 lines got the job done for the Jackets and we'll need them all to continue to produce in the next round.

Trevor Daley went down today with an injury and it looks like we'll be without him for awhile. Mark Stuart will see some action for the first time this playoffs and is expected to be partnered with Craig Rivet.

Overall special teams played a major role in this series and the Jackets PP and PK dominated the Preds and that was ultimately the difference.

Congrats to the Sens and Habs for making it an all Canadian Eastern Conf Final. (Would be cool to see in the NHL some day).

Congrats to the Jackets for making one of my predictions come true.

Congrats to the Ducks for taking out another one of the top teams in the league. Just goes to show that regular season means very little and the playoffs are a new season.

In other news the defending AHL Champs Bridgeport Sound Tigers are ousted in the 2nd round by CAR affiliate Albany River Rats. Congrats Doug. With that both Islanders clubs are done early in what was a magical year.

Good luck to the stupid Ducks in there stupid quest for the stupid cup!

Just kidding of course. Finally out shot the quacks but just couldn't get it done against Cam Ward and the all star cast of d-men.

Good luck the rest of the way. I will be cheering for the team that put me out.

Poor Moose. Canucks season, both big club and minor, now officially over. Much congrats to all of the clubs moving on!
