Afternoon... over the summer the wife and I have been doing some home renovations (meaning: she painted, and I worked my arse off redoing the kitchen, floors, etc... don't let the wife read this).
Anyway, we also replaced some stuff meaning I have old stuff hanging out in my garage, preventing me from putting, you know, vehicles in there. Good for you to get a great deal on my old stuff!
First up: Maytag Gas Stove (http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAd?AdId=309777073&Guid=13215e44-c390-a20b-2652-7578fffe6330). Very good shape, although a couple minor dings in the top surface that don't effect the workings at all. $75 obo
Next: Maytag built in dishwasher (http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAd?AdId=309779542&Guid=13215eca-58e0-a20b-2722-ed3cfffe60be). Jetclean super capacity something something I don't know. You put the dishes in, they come out clean. According to Bob Blumer (http://www.winexmagazine.com/index.php/wine/vieweat/dishwasher-salmon/) it will also poach a salmon nicely. $25 obo
Both of these are white, meaning not stainless steel, so of course they had to be replaced with the new kitchen despite the fact that they work perfectly. Sigh.
Also: Wine rack (http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAd?AdId=309777766&Guid=13215e6b-93c0-a20b-26d7-f08dfffe63d3). Sort of a circular metal thing. Holds 24 bottles of wine and can hang wine glasses upside down - 8 for sure maybe 12 if they are smaller glasses. The new kitchen cabinets have a built in wine rack so.... $30 obo
And yet more: Solid wood TV stand (http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAd?AdId=309779128&Guid=13215eb3-fe90-a20b-26a0-ea8efffe5ea6). Held a 20" TV just fine, could easily hold a bigger one. No real reason on this one, just taking up room in my garage, although you can see the nice new hardwood floor I put down in the pics. $35 obo
Lastly: Corner computer desk (http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAd?AdId=309918995&Guid=13217ed1-2450-a20b-2763-9dc7fffe41de). Would be good for a student as it holds a decent amount of crap without taking up a ton of space. And in this picture, you can see the fugly blue carpet that was there before the nice new hardwood. $40 obo
